Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Email addresses — submitted voluntarily via our launch notification form. Used only to notify you when our site launches.
• Analytics data — page views, session duration, and general usage patterns, collected via PostHog. This data is only collected if you accept cookies.
• Session recordings — screen recordings of your visit (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) via PostHog session replay. Only collected with your explicit consent.

We do not collect payment information, sell your data, or share it with advertisers.

How We Use It

• Email addresses are used solely to send a one-time launch announcement.
• Analytics and session data help us understand how visitors experience our site so we can improve it.
• We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• PostHog — analytics and session replay. Data is routed through our own reverse proxy (r.lecollectifllc.com) and retained for 30 days. PostHog Privacy Policy
• Firebase (Google) — infrastructure and data storage for our internal tools. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Microsoft 365 — used internally for email, calendar, and file storage. Not used to process visitor data.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage for the following purposes:

• Consent preference — we store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again if you've accepted.
• PostHog analytics — if you accept cookies, PostHog sets cookies to track sessions and distinguish visitors.

You can decline cookies via the banner on our homepage at any time. Declining opts you out of PostHog tracking for that session; the banner will reappear on your next visit so you can change your mind.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Decline analytics and session recording at any time via the cookie banner
• Request access to any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data

Security & Password Protection

CRM user passwords are stored as SHA-256 cryptographic hashes — your password is never stored in plain text and cannot be reversed by us or any third party. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Client Data (CRM)

Client information entered into our internal CRM — including names, contact details, project data, contracts, and financial records — is stored securely in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud infrastructure). This data is:

• Used solely to manage your project and deliver our services
• Never sold, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to third parties
• Accessible only to authorized Le Collectif LLC team members
• Retained for the duration of our engagement and deleted upon written request

To request deletion of your client data, email owners@lecollectifllc.com.

Data Retention

Analytics and session data in PostHog is retained for 30 days. Email addresses submitted via our notification form are retained until our site launches and notifications have been sent, after which they are deleted.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our site and services evolve. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
