One collective.

Sophie Smith

Sophie is creative at her core, and it shapes everything she builds. She's drawn to the part of the work where a client's idea becomes unmistakably their own. She brings the same standard to every project: she doesn't stop until it's right, and she gives it her full effort every time.

That same curiosity carries into how she sees the world. She's always chasing the next place she hasn't been. Travel has a way of shaping how she thinks and what she notices. It's that same instinct, paired with Melody's, that became Le Collectif: something the two of them built together, on their own terms.

Together

How it started

Le Collectif LLC started the way most good things do — between two best friends who refused to wait for permission.

Melody and Sophie have known each other since kindergarten. Between them, they have run kitchens and cafes, led accounts, led event photography teams, and mastered the crafts of pastry, culinary arts, and butchering — all rooted in a deep, shared love of art. Neither took the traditional path into tech. They built their way in, first by using AI tools to create the apps and software they and their friends actually wanted, then by turning that into a business.

That background shapes everything about how they work. They've been the small business owner. They've been the artist trying to make the numbers work. They know what it costs in money, in time, in dignity, when the tools you're paying for don't actually fit your life.

So they build things that do.

Le Collectif works with small businesses and independent artists who want a real partner, not a vendor. Custom websites, internal tools, admin portals, payroll systems, built around what you actually need and priced around what you can actually afford. The goal is always the same: give you something that saves you money in the long run and makes your work easier to sustain.

Their clients feel like owners of the process, because they are. Melody and Sophie listen first. They'll adjust scope, restructure pricing, rethink the approach. What they won't do is compromise your vision to protect their margin.

The name says it: a collective. Yours and theirs, together.
